First Parking are committed to ensuring the sites we manage comply with the Government Disability Discrimination Act in terms of how spaces are allocated and highlighted for disabled drivers. Our vigorous and continuous onsite training ensures that enforcement officers focus on key areas of concern especially the abuse of important dedicated spaces such as these. Should a motorist without a Blue Badge decide to park in a disabled bay, the enforcement officer can issue them with either a parking charge notice or warning notice. By enforcing parking restrictions on those who abuse the disabled parking facilities you’ll see a dramatic reduction allowing the dedicated spaces to be used as intended.
